The Baltimore Ravens were founded in 1996, and their two Super Bowl wins occurred in 2000 and 2012. They play at M&T Bank Stadium, home of the iconic players Lamar Jackson, Mark Andrews, and Ray Lewis.
Buffalo Bills
The Buffalo Bills were founded in the year 1947 and have never won a Super Bowl. They play their home games at High Mark Stadium, and three of their most iconic players are Jim Kelly, Thurman Thomas, and Josh Allen.
Carolina Panthers
The Carolina Panthers were founded in 1995. They have never won a Superbowl, and they play their home games at Bank of America Stadium. Three iconic players for the team are Cam Newton, Christian McCaffrey, and Steve Smith.
Chicago Bears
The Chicago Bears were founded in 1920. They have won the Super Bowl twice, in 1985 and 2016. They play their home games at Soldier Field. Three memorable players for the Bears include Mike Ditka, Mitch Trubisky, and George Halas.
Cincinnati Bengals
The Cincinnati Bengals, founded in 1968, have never won a Super Bowl. The team’s home field is Paul Brown Stadium. Three of the team’s most iconic players are Corey Dillon, Joe Burrow, and Chad Johnson.
Cleveland Browns
The Cleveland Browns are a football team based in Cleveland, Ohio. They were founded in 1946, and have never won a Super Bowl. Their home field is FirstEnergy Stadium. Baker Mayfield, Jim Brown, and Ozzie Newsome are some of the most iconic players in the team’s history.
Dallas Cowboys
The Dallas Cowboys were founded in 1960. They have won five Super Bowls titles and hold the record for most wins by an NFL team with 883 victories. Their home field is AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. Three iconic players are Troy Aikman, Emmitt Smith, and Michael Irving.
Denver Broncos
The Denver Broncos were founded in 1960 and have won three Superbowls: 1997, 1998, and 2015. They play their home games at Empower Field at Mile High. Their star players include John Elway, Peyton Manning, and Shannon Sharpe.
Detroit Lions
The Detroit Lions were founded in 1930 and have never won a Superbowl. They play their home games at Ford Field. Their top players include quarterback Matt Stafford, wide receiver Calvin Johnson, and running back Barry Sanders.
Green Bay Packers
The Green Bay Packers have won zero Super Bowls, play their home games at Lambeau Field, and were founded in 1921. Three of the team’s most iconic players are Aaron Rodgers, former quarterback Bart Starr, and current head coach Mike Holmgren.
Houston Texans
The Houston Texans were founded in 2002, but they have yet to win a Superbowl. They play their home games at NRG Stadium. Three of the most iconic players in Texans’ history are JJ Watt, Arian Foster, and Deandre Hopkins.
Indianapolis Colts
The Indianapolis Colts were founded in 1953. They have won four Superbowls, including the 2006 title. Indianapolis plays its home games at Lucas Oil Stadium. Three of the most iconic players in Colts’ history are Peyton Manning, Edgerrin James, and Marvin Harrison.
Jacksonville Jaguars
The Jacksonville Jaguars are a football team in the National Football League. They were founded in 1995 and have never won the Superbowl. Their home field is TIAA Bank Field, which was built in 2020. The team’s most iconic players are Trevor Lawrence, Fred Taylor, and Jimmy Smith.
Kansas City Chiefs
The Kansas City Chiefs were founded in 1960 and have had two Superbowl wins: one in 1970 and the other in 2020. Their home field is Arrowhead Stadium, and three of their most iconic players are quarterback Patrick Mahomes, tight end Tony Gonzalez and running back Jamal Charles.
Las Vegas Raiders
The Las Vegas Raiders, founded in 1960, are a professional American football team based in Las Vegas. The franchise has appeared in three Superbowls, winning twice (1976 and 1983). The team plays its home games at the Allegiant Stadium. Three players have become icons for the franchise: Marcus Brown, Tim Allen, and Sebastian Janikowski.
Los Angeles Chargers
The Los Angeles Chargers were founded in 1960 and have played at the SoFi Stadium since their inception. They won one Superbowl, in 1963, with Justin Herbert as a quarterback, Ladanian Tomlinson as running back, and Antonio Gates as a tight end.
Los Angeles Rams
The Los Angeles Rams, founded in 1937, have won two Super Bowls, most recently in 1999. Their home games are played at SoFi Stadium. Three iconic players for the team include Kurt Warner (quarterback), Isaac Bruce (wide receiver), and Jim Everett (quarterback).

Miami Dolphins

Minnesota Vikings
The Minnesota Vikings were founded in 1961 but had to wait until 2018 for their first Superbowl win. They’ll play home games at US Bank Stadium, which opened in 2016. The team is led by quarterback Kirk Cousins, running back Adrian Peterson, and Hall of Fame QB Frank Tarkenton.
New England Patriots
The New England Patriots were founded in 1960. Since then, the team has won five Superbowl championships: 2001, 2003, 2004, 2014, and 2016. The franchise plays its home games at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts. Three iconic players for the Patriots include quarterback Tom Brady, kicker Doug Flutie, and offensive lineman John Hannah.
New Orleans Saints
The New Orleans Saints have a rich history, which includes winning Super Bowl XLIV in 2009. Their home field is the Caesars Superdome. Three of the franchise’s most iconic players are Drew Brees, Mark Ingram, and Michael Thomas.
New York Giants
The New York Giants are a professional football team based in East Rutherford, New Jersey. They are one of the oldest franchises in the NFL, having joined in 1925. The Giants have won more championships than any other team in the league, with eight. The team plays its home games at MetLife Stadium and is owned by John Mara and Steve Tisch. Eli Manning is the current starting quarterback for the Giants and has led them to two Superbowl victories (Superbowls XLII and XLVI) in his career. In addition to Manning, another iconic player is Lawrence Taylor, who was named to a record 11 Pro Bowls while playing for the Giants from 1981-1993 and was elected to both the Pro Football Hall of Fame and College Football Hall of Fame.
New York Jets
The New York Jets were founded in 1960 and have won two Superbowls. They play their home games at Met Life Stadium, which is located in East Rutherford, New Jersey. Their greatest players are Joe Namath, Vinny Testaverde, and Curtis Martin.
Philadelphia Eagles
The Philadelphia Eagles play in the NFL. They won their first Super Bowl in 2017, defeating the New England Patriots 41-33. They play their home games at Lincoln Financial Field. Three of their best players were Donovan McNabb, Reggie White, and LeSean McCoy.
Pittsburgh Steelers
The Pittsburgh Steelers were founded in 1933. They have won six Superbowls, most recently in 2005 and 2007. Their home field is Heinz Field in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Their three most iconic players are Jerome Bettis, Hines Ward, and Franco Harris.
San Francisco 49ers
The 49ers were founded in 1946 and won their first Super Bowl in 1981. They went on to win five more Super Bowls by 1989. In 1994, they won their sixth Super Bowl. The team plays at Levi’s Stadium and is known for the immense talent of its players, including Roger Craig, Joe Montana, and Jerry Rice.
Seattle Seahawks
The Seattle Seahawks have won one Super Bowl and have been in the playoffs many times. Their home field is called the “Clink” because it is located inside a baseball stadium. They have three iconic players: Richard Sherman, Marshawn Lynch, and Russell Wilson.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have been playing football since 1976. They won Superbowls in 2002 and 2020. They play at Raymond James Stadium and their three most iconic players are Mike Evans, Martin Grammatica, and Derrick Brooks
Tennessee Titans
The Tennessee Titans were founded in 1960, and the team has never won a Superbowl. The franchise plays its home games at Nissan Stadium. Three players have become iconic figures in team history: quarterback Steve McNair (who passed away in 2009), running back Derrick Henry, and running back Eddie George.
Washington Commanders
The Washington Commanders compete in the National Football League. Founded in 1932, they have had three Superbowl wins: 1982, 1987, and 1991. Their home field is Fed Ex Field. Their most famous players are Joe Theismann, Art Monk, and John Riggins.
